About

The “Organisation Editor” tool empowers you and your local organisation/club members to take control of your own records and events. This comprehensive tool enables you to efficiently manage your organisation or club in the dashboard, make necessary modifications, and ensure accurate representation of associated records. Additionally, it provides a centralised platform for adding and editing events, streamlining the process for your organisation or club.

To gain editing access to your local organisation or club record, as well as its associated child records and events, please reach out to the Smart Community Forum in your community. They will provide you with the necessary permissions and support to effectively utilise this feature.

Adding/Editing Child Records

In the Organisation Editor for your local organisation or club, you have the ability to include various child records that are associated with it. These child records can fall into different categories:

Asset – Have: These are the physical items that your club or organization owns or manages, such as a clubhouse or pitches.

Project – Past: This category includes simple projects that you have worked on in the last 12 months, as well as notable projects undertaken within the past 10 years.

Project – Present: Here, you can list the projects you are currently working on.

Project – Future: This category is for projects that you have planned and will definitely be working on in the future.

Project – Idea: Use this category for ideas that you would like to pursue but are still awaiting confirmation or certainty.

While not essential, Goal record type can be added to outline your general ambitions and aspirations. These record types serve as key components to be added to the dashboard.

To manage these child records, you have the following available features:

Edit Existing Child Records: Click on “Edit” to modify the title, edit or add to the summary, assign relevant themes, and include images or links/URLs relevant to that record.

Delete Existing Child Records: Click on “Delete” if that record is not associated with your local organisation or club.

Add New Child Records: You can either select a record from the list of suggested standard records or add a ‘Blank Record’ that you can later customise.

Once you have made the desired changes, click “Submit” to save them and ensure they are applied successfully.
